Dr. Diane Meyer – My focus is family wellness care.

I graduated from McMaster University with a BSc in Biology and completed Chiropractic school in Toronto in 1994. I had a special interest in pediatrics and through further study obtained a Fellowship with the ICPA (International Chiropractic Pediatric Association) in 1994. My passion for enhancing the birth experience inspired further study and in 2005 I received Diplomate status (3 year program) with the Academy Council of Chiropractic Pediatrics.

My journey with Chiropractic began when I, as a teen had an unrelenting headache which stumped the medical system. I was X-rayed, scanned, poked and prodded, and medicated with still no resolution. After two months of this headache a friend suggested a chiropractor. What did a chiropractor have to do with headaches? I had nothing to lose and thankfully my parents had an open mind to try something different. Within a few days the headache left and within a few weeks I found my calling.

Since that experience I have been blessed to share in the wellness journey with thousands of individuals. I have participated in bringing babies into the world and I have helped others soar to amazing levels of health that seemed impossible. I have been witness to unbelievable miracles and am humbled daily by the amazing innate power within each of us.

Currently, my focus is on family wellness care. I offer my patients ongoing information and guidance to stretch the possibility of what wellness can be and how to achieve it. I teach pediatrics to students of the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College, I have been a guest lecturer for the Midwifery program at McMaster University and have taught pre-natal classes with Dr. Andrea Ferretti. I have published research in pediatrics and I seek continual education to expand my knowledge and techniques so that I may serve my patients with the most advanced care possible.

Dr. Meyer has also published ‘The successful chiropractic care of pediatric patients with chronic constipation’ study in Clinical Chiropractic. As well she wrote an article ‘Pull the Plug!” for the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association.

Dr. Meyer currently uses a variety of techniques, including:

I have been a practicing chiropractor in the Oakville community since 1995. I am the mother of 4 healthy, home birthed, and drug free children. I attribute their incredible health and vitality to the chiropractic care that has been a part of their lifestyle since before birth.
